THE PLACE & THE PEOPLE
Mendrisio
Founded in 1953 by Guglielmo Gialdi, Gialdi Vini began in the wine trade. The purchase of a cellar in northern Ticino in 1984 marked its move into Merlot production. Today Raffaella Gialdi carries the company’s story forward, with respect for the territory at its heart.
Gently pressed white must, fermented and matured in new French oak barriques for around eight months.
