The Swiss Edit — Cross-Country Tasting at the Pavilion

A curated sweep of Switzerland in one focused session

Add to calendar:

What to Expect

Switzerland is tiny on the map and huge in character. This session brings a balanced mix of whites, reds, and one experimental style from across Valais, Vaud, Ticino, Graubünden, and Bielersee — a fast, insightful tour of the country’s terroirs, grapes, and winemaking philosophies.

Designed for sommeliers, importers, F&B leaders, retailers, and media, we’ll connect the dots between altitude, aspect, soils, and style. Think precision over quantity, texture over weight, energy over oak — the Swiss way.

Tasting Focus

  • Alpine whites (Chasselas, Heida/Savagnin, Johanniter): purity, minerality, line.
  • Cool-climate reds (Pinot Noir, Merlot from Ticino): finesse, tension, length.
  • One wild card (skin-contact or barrel expression): technique meets terroir.

(Final lineup announced at the table; pours are limited.)
