THE PLACE & THE PEOPLE
Mont-sur-Rolle
The origins of Domaine de Montbenay reach back to the monks of the Abbey of Montbenoît, who planted vines on these lands. Today Paul de Watteville, the sixteenth generation, runs the estate alongside his father Maurice. Its wines explore Chasselas, Pinot Noir and Sauvignon Blanc around Mont-sur-Rolle.
Hand-harvested and manually destemmed, with a long maceration followed by ageing in oak barrels.
